Definition: Menial Labour ~ 1.Labour not requiring much skill and lacking prestige. 2.Of or relating to work or a job regarded as servile.
Here at Enfuse Youth we believe that no job should be called ‘menial’. When one embarks on their career they should be aware that a career is a ‘succession’ of jobs and no matter where you start it doesn’t mean that you have to settle for the same job if you don’t want to. Continue reading
Good opportunity for an internship!
The Competition Framework
Telenomics is an award-winning, fast-growing O2 franchisee and we’re looking for 30 ambitious and enterprising London based students to take part in an entrepreneurial sales based competition.
The competition is designed to run for approximately 2 months during which the 30 accepted students will get the chance to sell an exclusively discounted student mobile offer into their peer network. Telenomics is offering a generous per connection commission of £15 which based on average performance could result in a total earning per competitor of £1200. During the challenge you will receive sales training, marketing support as well as mentoring from the company directors to enable you to achieve your maximum potential.
Upon conclusion of the challenge, the top performing individual will be awarded the tittle of “Telenomics O2 Workshop Student Entrepreneur of the Year 2011”. Two summer internships will also be awarded to the top performers of the challenge.
We’re looking for entrepreneurial students who can combine business acumen with marketing expertise and launch a student focused sales campaign, to their peers. As well as generous sales commission for taking part in the Telenomics/O2 Challenge, the winners will join us for a paid summer internship.
The internship, which will take place this summer, will have exposure to our B2B social media strategy, Retail marketing plan, O2 Open, and new business development. The interns will have direct access to each of the directors and have a chance to shadow the Telenomics Retail Director.
If this sounds like your sort of thing, please apply through enternships.com and send us your C.V.
To apply, you need to be a London based student and available to take part in the Enternship opportunity alongside your studies, from March.
Telenomics was founded in 2007 by 3 entrepreneurs: Adarsh Radia, Amar Radia and Asad Hamir.
Telenomics is an O2 Gold Business Partner since 2010 and winners of the 2011 British Franchise Association (BFA) Franchisee of the Year (London). Additional accolades include: O2 Enterprise Award 2010, O2 Entrepreneur of the Year 2009, O2 Franchisee of the Year 2008.
With the support of O2, Telenomics have created the first O2 Workshop which is based on Tottenham Court Road, London. This is a revolutionary concept that bridges the gap between small business and the traditional retail offering – it is a space to work, meet, network, develop as a business.

Here is a good study of how social media affects to education. Here in Enfuse youth we think that depends on what is used for. We understand that is an update of how people get connected today and we think that if they start using them since they are young, this will be reflected in their ability to use it for a professional goal.
Moreover, it also has lots of potential into their university learning stage. So here it comes a doubt to our head, do you think every university educator is prepared for it? Are the alumni more prepared for this social engaging live? Are we living in a transition phase and we have to wait till this gets more stabilized?
We will see!
